Creating Suspense
-Focus on specific passages of the story that build suspense
-Complete "Steps to Suspense," p. 48 in Holt Reader.

Listening and Visualizing
-Listen to the radio broadcast of “Three Skeleton Key”
-While listening, students should draw what they visualize.
-Discuss the sounds that add to the suspense of the broadcast.
